Play-by-play Broadcaster

Based in the New York Metropolitan Area, Phil Constantino is a play-by-play broadcaster with national television and radio experience, having called games on ESPN2 and Westwood One Sports.

Constantino is currently the lead play-by-play broadcaster at Long Island University, where he also serves as the school's Assistant Athletic Director for Communications & Broadcasting.

​

Constantino has a decade of experience as the play-by-play voice of a college program. Prior to LIU, he spent four seasons as the "Voice of the Runnin' Bulldogs" at Gardner-Webb University ('20-'24) in North Carolina, calling NCAA Division I football, basketball, and various Olympic sports on radio and ESPN+. Before GWU, Constantino spent five years as the "Voice of the Royals" at Queens University of Charlotte ('15-'20).

Other notable on-air stops include freelance stints with Learfield, the Charlotte Hornets, ESPN Charlotte, the Charlotte Knights (AAA, Chicago White Sox), the Big South Conference, and the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), among other marquee stops.
